Week 2 of the NFL season brought several major injuries that could affect teams heading into the rest of the season. With the fantasy football season also underway, these injuries could have a major impact on lineups and team depth.

One of the biggest injuries came in Washington, where quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow during the Commanders' loss to the Dallas Cowboys. X-rays did not show a fracture, but Daniels underwent additional testing to determine the severity of the injury. His availability will be one of the biggest injury storylines heading into Week 3.

The Chicago Bears also suffered a major scare when quarterback Caleb Williams left Sunday's game against Minnesota with a leg injury. Williams was injured after being tackled and had to leave the field. The Bears ultimately lost 9–3, making the injury an even bigger concern as the team prepares for its next game.

Another significant injury occurred in Green Bay, where Jayden Reed was taken from the field on a stretcher after suffering a neck injury against the New York Jets. Reed was ruled out for the game. The Packers will be closely monitoring his condition as they prepare for Week 3.

The Houston Texans also lost wide receiver Nico Collins, who missed the Week 2 game with a hamstring injury. Collins is one of Houston's most important offensive players, so his status will be worth watching as the Texans try to get their season back on track.

In Denver, running back RJ Harvey dealt with a hamstring injury and was unable to play against Jacksonville. Harvey's absence could create more opportunities for other Broncos running backs, especially if he remains limited in the coming weeks.

The Las Vegas Raiders were without star tight end Brock Bowers, who missed the Chargers game because of a knee injury. Bowers is one of the league's most productive young tight ends, and his return could have a major effect on the Raiders' offense.

These injuries are a reminder of how quickly the NFL season can change. Players who looked healthy entering Week 2 are now facing uncertain recoveries, while backup players may suddenly receive much larger roles. Fantasy football managers should especially pay attention to injury reports throughout the week before setting their Week 3 lineups.
