Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are heading into the final days of the WNBA regular season, and Clark has recently put together several strong performances. After returning from the FIBA Women's World Cup, where she helped Team USA win a gold medal, Clark has quickly returned to making an impact for Indiana.

Clark's most recent performance came Tuesday night against the Minnesota Lynx. She finished with 27 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds while shooting 50% from the field. The Fever defeated Minnesota 96–77, giving Indiana an important win as it continues to compete for playoff positioning.

The performance continued a productive stretch for Clark. In her first game back from the World Cup on September 18, she recorded 28 points and 14 assists against the Toronto Tempo. She followed that performance with 25 points against the Washington Mystics before putting up 27 points against Minnesota. Over those three games, Clark has averaged 26.7 points, 9.3 assists, and 5 rebounds per game.

Clark has also been part of an impressive offensive stretch for the Fever. Teammate Kelsey Mitchell recently broke the WNBA's single-season scoring record, while Clark has continued to provide scoring and playmaking alongside Mitchell and Aliyah Boston. The three players combined for 67 points in Indiana's victory over Minnesota.

One storyline surrounding Clark heading into the playoffs has been her technical-foul total. Clark reached seven technical fouls during the regular season, meaning another technical could result in a suspension under WNBA rules. Clark has said she has been communicating with referees before games in an effort to avoid another technical foul and remain available for her team.

Off the court, Clark is also preparing for the release of her first Nike signature shoe. The shoe is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 1, making Clark the fifth active women's basketball player with a Nike signature shoe.

With the playoffs approaching, Clark's recent performances have put the spotlight back on her after the international break. Indiana has one regular-season game remaining against Minnesota before turning its attention to the postseason. For Clark and the Fever, the next few games will provide an opportunity to build momentum heading into the playoffs.
